The Yukon T1D Support Network is very proud to announce Kianis Donovan as the 2022 recipient of the Rebecca Pollard Legacy Grant for Students in Nursing!
Enrolled in the Licensed Practical Nurse program at Yukon University, Kianis’ dream is to eventually put her nursing skills to work at Whitehorse General Hospital. A lifelong Yukoner and a proud Gwichi’in woman, Kianis is driven by her ethos to ensure compassionate and supportive care is provided to those who are most vulnerable.
You can find Kianis working out at the gym or playing with her young daughter in the park. She is incredibly health-focused and you know we love to see it! Please join us in congratulating this outstanding young woman as she embarks on her nursing career. You deserve it, Kianis!
