We know how expensive living with Type 1 diabetes can be. The Yukon T1D Support Network is honored to be offering Rebecca Pollard Legacy Grants for Yukon post-secondary students living with Type 1 diabetes. These micro grants are designed to reduce a little bit of the financial stress, making life just a wee bit easier.
These grants are in honor of Rebecca Pollard, a friend and mentor who had lived with Type 1 diabetes for less than one year. Her legacy continues on through these humble financial provisions, as they are tailored after her desire to reduce some of the burdens that people living with Type 1 diabetes face.
